About the Server
Our server is for patrons of any library in our consortium (LION). All players must be under 18 or a student at Mitchell College with a valid LION Library card.
Library staff will be on hand to monitor the game and resolve any disputes. While library staff cannot be present all of the time, we strive to have at least one staff member on the server during the high demand hours after school and on weekends. Please contact library staff with any questions or concerns.
The server only works with the computer version of Minecraft. It is not compatible with Minecraft PE or consoles.
In order for us to add you to the LION Minecraft server you must:
- Be a Wallingford resident with a valid library card
- Have your own Minecraft account (not Minecraft PE)
- Be 17 years of age or under
If you meet all of these qualifications, please download and fill out the Minecraft Registration Form and Code of Conduct Agreement. The registration form requires a parent/guardian’s signature. Players will need to agree to the Code of Conduct. Please return both completed forms to the Information Desk or Children’s Library.
Once we have verified your information and whitelisted you on the server we will send you an email with instructions on accessing the server.
If you have LION library card from a town other than Wallingford please see your home library to register for the server. In the event that you have a LION library card with a library that is not participating in the server, please see the Information Desk or the Children’s Library.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept registrations from any patron without a valid LION library card.
