Thursday, June 27th, 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Community Room
This informational seminar, presented by Vin Testa, will explore 26 things allies, youth service providers, and educators need to know about working with people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning. This presentation will allow for rich discussion and allow time for participants to ask questions. By no means does the presenter claim to speak for, or represent, any group within the LGBTQ community.
Vin Testa is an LGBTQ Liaison with DC Public Schools, where he receives monthly training from their Central Office team on working with LGBTQ-identifying youth and then he provides that training to his colleagues at the school level.
