Baking Demonstration with Rosemarie Prelinger: Zuercher Oerhli

Saturday, March 24th, 10:00-11:30 a.m. in the Community Room
Zuercher Oehrli
Being the oldest daughter after three sons, Rosemarie was always watching and helping her mother bake. Growing up in Switzerland, every year during Fasnacht (Swiss Carnival), Rosemarie’s mother made a delicious pastry called Zuercher Oehrli (Zuricher Little Ears), a fine and delicate pastry that literally melts in your mouth. Rosemarie’s demonstration will teach you, step-by-step how to make Zuercher Oehrli. You will receive a printed, easy-to-follow recipe, and even get to taste the finished dessert!
