The Wallingford Public Library now lends passes to the following museums:

Eli Whitney Museum

Mark Twain House

Mashantucket Pequot Museum

Mystic Aquarium

New England Air Museum

Peabody Museum

Science Center of Connecticut/Roaring Brook

Passes may be borrowed one at a time and circulate for two days. They are available on a first-come, first served basis and may not be reserved in advance. They must be checked out and returned to the Children's Room of the Library using an up-to-date adult library card. Passes are available to non-residents but must be checked out on an active, adult library card and returned to the Children's Room of the Wallingford Public Library.

Passes may NOT be returned to the book drop.

Overdue fines of $5.00 per day will be charged for a museum pass that is not returned on time. there is a $75.00 charge for a lost museum pass( or replacement cost if less). For more specific information about any of the above museum passes, please call ( 203-265-6754)  or stop by the Children's Room.

SO00452_.WMF (2168 bytes)Parents and caregivers are invited to bring kids of all ages to a Valentine Craft program. This program will begin at 4:00 p.m. with a story and then we will all join into create some imaginative and beautiful Valentines!

A Magic and Fantasy Children's Theatre program by Vic and Earl Productions will be presented in the Community Room on Friday, February 23rd at 10:30 a.m. The program is a journey into the imagination where we will step back in time into a fanciful land ruled by magic. Molehair, the court magician, and ballazar the wizard will bring us stories and magic from the silliest of all kingdoms.

This 45- minute program will promote children's imagination through the use of costumed characters, storytelling, puppetry and magic. Designed for children in kindergarten through seventh grade, and their parents, this free program is sure to delight kids on their school vacation. families are welcome and there is no registration or ticket required for this program.
