NetLibrary is the most
comprehensive collection of online books (eBooks) and resource
materials available. Using netLibrary you can
access a wide range of scholarly and reference materials entirely
online. netLibrary is as easy to use as a traditional library, but is
faster, more efficient, and accessible from any location. With netLibrary, you can search every word in the entire collection, as
well as search within a particular eBook.
What Is an eBook? An eBook is an electronic version of a printed
book. eBooks can be Viewed online from any computer connected to the
Internet. You can preview eBooks for 15 minutes for quick reference,
or read them at your leisure. Because eBooks are online, they are
available at your convenience —anywhere, anytime. You don ‘t have
to worry about returning them —eBooks are automatically returned at
the end of your checkout period.
What Is an eBook Collection? There are two types of eBook
collections at netLibrary—Library and Public. The Library
Collection contains eBooks that your library has purchased. The Public
Collection contains public domain eBooks that are free to everybody.

an Account
There are two ways to access eBooks at netLibrary. If you are
visiting the netLibrary web site from a PC in your library, you
can search or preview eBooks as an anonymous user —no login is
required.

in
To check out an eBook, you must first log in using your NetLibrary
account.
 | Performing
a quick search
The search box on the main navigation bar performs a quick wearch,
allowing you to locate an eBook by searching full text, keyword,
title, author, or subject.
 | Find
an ebook
The main search screen allows you to search multiple fields
simultaneously, including title, author, subject keywords, full
text, publisher, publication year, and ISBN. The more information
you enter, the more precise the results of your will be.
 | Preview
an eBook
You may preview an eBook without logging in to netLibrary. eBooks
are viewed in 15 minute intervals. You will be allowed an
additional 15 minutes as long as another library member has not
requested the eBook.
 | Check
out an eBook
To check out an eBook, you must be logged in to netLibrary. Once
you have checked out an eBook, you have exclusive access to the
eBook for the checkout period. The duration of your check out
period is 4 hours. The eBook is automatically checked checked in
when the checkout period expires. At the time you checkout the
eBook, a status window will display the title of the eBook and the
time remaining before the eBook is automatically returned to netLibrary. |
