Donate Your Gently-Used Books, Music, and Movies
We welcome donations of used books, audio books, CDs, and DVDs in very good condition for our used book store. We do not accept magazines, records, music tapes, VHS tapes, encyclopedias, textbooks, instruction manuals or Readers Digest Condensed Books. Any items that are torn, dirty, written in or have a musty odor will be refused or discarded.
Donations can be brought to the Book Seller, our used book shop, when it is open. Book Seller volunteers will not lift heavy boxes.
Please call the Library for more information at (203)265-6754.

Give a Memorial or Honorary Book
The Library is happy to accept requests for donations in memory or in honor of someone. Please fill out a memorial/honorary book form with names and addresses of donors and recipients. The Library will choose and purchase a book. A plate with the person’s name will be placed on the inside cover and acknowledgments will be sent to the closest relative.
Support Us With Amazon Smile
If you are an Amazon customer, use Amazon Smile and select Wallingford Public Library Association as your charitable organization. It’s the same Amazon shopping experience, and Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of your eligible purchases to the Library.
Volunteer Your Time
The Library is privileged to have an active volunteer force of high school students and adults. Volunteers help keep our shelves in order, run the book shop, and participate in other special projects. Please download and return a volunteer application or pick one up at the Information Desk if you are interested. Contact Deborah Ward, Volunteer Coordinator, at (203)265-6754 or firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
