History and Genealogy The Connecticut Collection consists of special books, pamphlets, newspapers census records, photographs, town government documents, maps, and atlases that document the economic, natural, political, and social history, as well as genealogy of Wallingford. The collection is housed in climate-controlled closed stacks. The Library is a member of the American Genealogical Lending Library. For a small fee thousands of rolls of microfilm are available for genealogical research. There are also lots of great World Wide Web sites for anyone interested in genealogy. Holocaust Collection The Wallingford Public Library, through the investment of a trust from local attorney Theodore Lendler and family, has developed a collection of books and materials on the Holocaust.
