Teen Summer Reading

The Wide World of YA:
2014 Teen Summer Reading Program

Where will you trek this summer?

All teens in grades 6-12 are welcome to join our reading expedition. No registration is necessary. Beginning July 1st, when you have finished reading a book, come to the Library’s Information Desk. Fill out a short reader entry form to enter to win a prize of your choice from the prize list. If you wish, you can pin markers of the settings of your books on our interactive Google Map and leave a comment about the book for others to see.

Read whatever you like. School summer reading titles, audio books, and e-books count! The map will remain open and reader entry forms will be accepted until noon on Saturday, August 30th.

While you may not leave Wallingford this summer, reading a good book is one of the best ways to travel. Throughout the summer you can view the reading map on our website, via Twitter, and on Facebook to see where everyone has travelled and what people are reading, and get reading suggestions. What are you waiting for? Get going on your Summer Reading Trek! Happy travels...
