Summer Reading For All Ages
Summertime and the Reading is Easy: 2013 Teen Summer Reading Program
July 1st-August 30th
Earn prizes by reading books this summer! All teens in grades 6-12 are welcome to participate. No registration is necessary. You may read whatever you like.
The program is super simple… when you have finished reading a book, come to the Information Desk and fill out a prize entry form to qualify to win a prize of your choice. Entry forms will be accepted up until 9 p.m. on Friday, August 30th. There will be a drawing on Tuesday, September 3rd and all winners will be notified. All participants are eligible for the grand prize drawing: a $50 Wal-Mart gift card.
You can use your school summer reading titles as well as e-books and audio books in the program.
Anyone 18 years or older is eligible to participate.
Read ‘Em and Eat is an incentive program designed to encourage adults to read and participate as children and teenagers do, in a summer reading program. Adults fill out a review (entry form) for each book they have read. Every two weeks a gift certificate to a local grocery/produce store will be awarded to a randomly drawn entrant. The more books you read, the more you can enter. Entry forms are available from the Information Desk. All entries from the previous weeks' drawings will be entered in the Grand Prize drawing. In addition, a random drawing for runner-up prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the program.
