In 2010, 8.3 million people were victims of identity fraud and scams. In 2011 that number increased by 13% to 11.6 million. Find out how you can protect yourself from becoming a victim. Join local resident Mike Savenelli for a workshop on Identity Fraud and Scams. Learn how you can protect yourself from becoming a victim and what to do if you have been a victim. Mike has been in the credit industry for 43 years and is currently employed by BCI Mortgage Financial, Inc. in Cheshire. He has served on a number of credit fraud organizations and has worked with law enforcement professionals throughout his career. This program is co-sponsored by Quinnipiac Valley Credit Union.
