Are you a fan of comic books and superhero TV shows and movies? Did you know that there was a comic book publishing company located in Derby, Connecticut from 1945-1986? Well, there’s a movie being produced about that comic book publishing company, featuring legendary artists and writers from the golden and silver age of comics! During this presentation, producer/director Jackie Zbuska and producer Keith Larsen of Charlton Comics: The Movie will discuss the crazy and hilarious story of what Charlton Comics was and why it matters in the annals of comic book history. They’ll also discuss the production of the film and show some clips and footage from the upcoming documentary feature.

However, for more than 135 years, the Library has also relied on member contributions to ensure that it continues to be a dynamic hub that serves and inspires individuals and families throughout our community.
