Mushroom Hike

Meet at the trailhead at the end of Barnes Industrial Park North.

Join Conservation Commissioner John Lathrop and retired Wallingford teacher Barbara Lathrop for a fascinating look at the amazing fungus among us. You will be amazed at what you will see and learn on a hike with the Lathrops. Remember some mushrooms are poisonous and only experts can be sure which ones are safe to ingest.
