Saudi Arabia: Stereotypes Just Don't Fit

By Wallingford Pub... - Posted on 15 July 2009

Thursday, July 23rd at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room

Deserts, camels, sand, oil, oppressed women, terrorists - from the charming to the not-so-charming stereotypes - this is what many Americans envision when asked about Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. When Kate Seichter recently traveled to Saudi Arabia, she learned first-hand that in this case, stereotypes just don't fit.

We invite you to join local resident and Sheehan High School social studies teacher Kate Seichter for an informative program on Saudi Arabia and her recent experiences in the Educators to Saudi Arabia program. Please register in person, online, or by phone at (203)265-6754.
