Poetry 811.54 Workshop

Saturday, December 6th, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Co-sponsored by the Meriden Poetry Society and the Meriden and Wallingford public libraries, this bi-weekly workshop for youth through seniors provides opportunities for reading favorite poems and writing one's own. Prompts for the latter are provided a week in advance of meetings so that there isn't sudden pressure to write. Thirty minutes are devoted to free flowing, unedited writing, followed by reading and constructive appreciation of each participant's poems.
