Know Your Community: Literacy Volunteers

Literacy Volunteers logoLearn about volunteer opportunities with Literacy Volunteers of Meriden/Wallingford. Literacy Volunteers provides tutors to adult students with the goal of 100 percent literacy. Volunteers must be at least 17 years old, have a valid telephone number and address, be able to read, write and speak the English language well enough to communicate clearly both orally and in written form, and complete the Literacy Volunteers tutor training course for Basic Literacy and/or ESL tutoring.
