Connecticut in the Civil War

By Wallingford Pub... - Posted on 14 March 2014

David KochThursday, March 27th at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room

Connecticut provided a greater percentage of its citizens as Union manpower than any other state. It was the arsenal of the Union, with factories producing uniforms, guns, and equipment for the Union armies in unheard of profusion, making Union armies the best-equipped in human history until that time. This engaging presentation will give detailed information about Connecticut in the Civil War. Presented by David Koch, Associate Professor of History at Housatonic Community College.
