Monday, December 6th at 4:00 p.m. in the Children’s Program Room
Everyone is welcome to help us celebrate Hanukkah through a dramatization of a Hanukkah story, as well as songs and a craft. This program will be presented by Risa Walter, Director of the Yeladim Learning Center at the Jewish Community Center of Greater New Haven.
Sign up for this free program in the Children’s Room. Appropriate for families with pre-school aged children and up.
Cinema Club will present White Ribbon on Monday, December 13th at 6:30 p.m. In error, the print copy of our December newsletter said the next Cinema Club meeting would be in January. We apologize for the confusion.
Monday, November 22nd at 3:30 p.m. in the Collins Room
Presented in cooperation with the Connecticut Humanities Council, part 3 of this series, moderated by Beth Levine, will focus on Kate Chopin's 1899 novel, The Awakening. Participants will examine related questions about censorship, rights, and creativity. Teenagers and adults are encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served.
