New Date for Cinema Club in July

Cinema Club will be held on Monday, July 11th instead of the 18th. We will be screening Biutiful. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Read 'Em and Eat: Adult Summer Reading Program Starts Monday, June 27th

Here’s your chance to be rewarded for reading! Anyone 18 or older can fill out an entry form for each book read between June 27 and August 26. Every other Friday, beginning July 8 and continuing through September 2, a random drawing from the prior week’s entries will be held. The winner receives a gift certificate to a Wallingford restaurant. The program will conclude with a Grand Prize Drawing on September 6, when a lucky winner will be drawn from all of the weekly entries and be awarded a $50.00 gift certificate to one of the participating restaurants.

Consumer Information Online

Monday, June 27th at 7:00 p.m. in the Collins Room

This month we are featuring one of the many free databases available via the Library's web site in our new program, Consumer Information Online. The lecture will introduce the Consumer Reports database, which includes automobiles, electronics, household products, appliances, and health topics. Learn how to find valuable consumer information (Consumer Reports ratings and more!) via the Library's web site. Please register online or by phone at (203)265-6754.

Read, Return, Repeat: 2011 Teen Summer Reading Program

June 27th-August 26th

Use the library and be green this summer. Check some great books from the library, bring them home and read them, then return them and do it all over again! Each book you read gives you the chance to win a prize of your choice. Summer Teen events include MLB Live!, Duct Tape, Origami, Wii Tournaments, Karate, Yoga on the lawn and more! Open to all teens in grades 6-12. Entry forms will be available beginning Monday, June 27th.
