It Happened But Nobody Noticed
Friday, September 11th at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room
Join us for a special screening of the documentary movie, It Happened but Nobody Noticed on Wallingford Public Library’s big screen. The film is by local film-maker Jerry Lombardo and charts the rise and rise of the Connecticut punk, rock and indie music scene. Full of live footage from the heyday punk years of ’78-’88, as well as lots of new interviews with featured musicians and scene-watchers, this movie is a must see event for anyone interested in the CT new wave music scene. Were you there? Did you notice? Perhaps you’ll appear in the crowd footage. Check out that hair!
The film is not rated, but is intended for adults due to theme and language. Refreshments will be served.
The Library offers two sources for downloadable audiobooks.
Also try Audiobooks at iConn, a service of the state library available to all Connecticut residents.
The Library will be closed on Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. Regular hours resume Tuesday, September 8th. Saturday hours begin on September 12th.
