Nothing is as precious as a card handmade by a child. Help your kids spread a little cheer and make holiday cards for all those special people in your life. We will have ideas and materials for all the December holidays!
We will also encourage kids to make a card for someone serving overseas. We’ll make sure to get that special card to someone who will really appreciate it this holiday season.
This is a drop-in program and everyone is welcome.

The library is delighted to present a special holiday celebration featuring some beautiful voices from Choate Rosemary Hall’s a cappella groups and Chamber Chorus. Program selections will be presented by the Maiyeros and the Kaprophones (boys’ groups), Lilith and the Whimawehs (girls’ groups), and Stonatos, a coed student-faculty ensemble. In addition to these student-run groups, Choate’s select Chamber Chorus, directed by Ralph Valentine, will round out the program. The Choate students and faculty are eager to share their voices and good cheer with all who attend and all are welcome to this free program!

Tyson is acclaimed indie director James Toback's stylistically inventive portrait of a mesmerizing Mike Tyson. Toback allows Tyson to reveal himself without inhibition and with eloquence and a pervasive vulnerability. Through a mixture of original interviews and archival footage and photographs, a startlingly complex, fully-rounded human being emerges. In its depiction of a man rising from the most debased circumstances to unlimited heights, destroyed by his own hubris, Tyson emerges as a modern day version of classic Greek tragedy. Rated: R
Discussion to follow movie. Refreshments will be served.
