Looking for some family fun during the Thanksgiving Weekend? Magician Chick Kelman will present a program full of magic and fun. Join us at this free, drop-in event. Everyone is welcome.
The Library will be closed on Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th in observance of Thanksgiving. We will close at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25th. Regular hours resume Saturday, November 28th.

Author Timothy Egan portrays families who survived the "black blizzards" and how the land is still affected today in this 2006 National Book Award Winner.

Join the Children’s Library staff for an evening of best new books for children, a “storytime” for adults who work with kids.
We will explore some of the best new books and discuss why they are exceptional. This is a great opportunity to see what is new in children’s literature in 2009 and what books would be perfect for your collection.
