Sharpe Online Reference is a great resource for many types of research projects. It includes Conflicts Since World War II, Social Issues in America, Global Social Issues, and World Terrorism. It is available to everyone using the public computers at the Main Library and remotely for Wallingford library card holders. Lotus Flower Lantern Class

Thursday, February 28th, 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the Collins Room

The members of the Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project will be on hand to help you make a lovely lotus flower lantern using colorful paper and wire frames. Look for examples in the Teen Area. All materials are provided and traditional Korean refreshments will be served. Open to all patrons in grades 6 and older. An Evening with Sydney Sherman, Paranormal Author & Medium

Wednesday, February 27th at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room

Sydney Sherman is the author of You Are Not Alone: Our Loved Ones Are Here . . . You’re Just Not Listening. The author looks at why and what we believe about the paranormal and the afterlife. Her book draws distinctions between myths and the paranormal and recounts numerous experiences with spirits. Please join us for her presentation and book signing. Reel Conversation: There’s Something Wrong with Aunt Diane

You know how it feels when you see a mind-bending movie and you want to share it with everyone you know? This film series is a chance to do just that. We’ve chosen documentaries that provoke questions, invite disagreements, and demand discussion. The first in our series is There’s Something Wrong with Aunt Diane.How do you explain a woman known as a perfect wife, mother, aunt, and friend driving the wrong way for nearly two miles on the Taconic Parkway before causing a head-on collision that kills eight people, including herself and her family members? Friday Night Flicks Presents: Hotel Transylvania

The Hotel Transylvania, run by Dracula, is a unique, high-end resort catering only to the finest monsters and their families. Dracula is preparing for an extra special weekend--his daughter Mavis' 118th birthday--when trouble arises: A human has stumbled upon the resort for the first time ever! Even worse--The human has taken a liking to Mavis! Rated PG.

Library Closed Monday & Tuesday, February 11th & 12th

The Library will remain closed on Tuesday, February 12th due to inclement weather. All programs are canceled. We hope to open on Wednesday, February 13th. Mother Goose on Wednesday morning also is canceled.
