Soon To Be Smoke Free

Beginning of January 1st, the Library will be smoke free anywhere on library property.

Once Banned, Now Classic Book Discussion

Monday, December 20th at 3:30 p.m. in the Collins Room

Presented in cooperation with the Connecticut Humanities Council, the 4th and final book in the Once Banned, Now Classic series will focus on J. D. Salinger’s classic coming of age novel, The Catcher in the Rye. Beth Levine will moderate the discussion which will include questions about society and censorship, morality, and prevailing standards and attitudes in American Literature.

Teenagers and adults are encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served. Copies of the books are available from the Information Desk.

Friday Night Flicks Presents: The Other Guys

Holiday Closing

The Library will be closed on Friday, December 24th and Saturday, December 25th in observance of Christmas. Regular hours resume Monday, December 27th.
