The Library’s newly formed Wallingford Writers Community is a forum for authors and aspiring authors alike to share their writing in an open and friendly environment. Writers will have the opportunity to talk about their writing projects, request feedback, and obtain resources for furthering their writing. In addition to open mic presentations, this month’s meeting will include a discussion on “How to Get Your Writing Published” by Robert Hubbard. The meeting will be moderated by Dr. Karen Laugel. The Wallingford Writers Community will meet monthly at the Wallingford Public Library. The next meeting is for planned January 22, and thereafter on the fourth Saturday of each month. Everyone is welcome to help us celebrate Hanukkah through a dramatization of a Hanukkah story, as well as songs and a craft. This program will be presented by Risa Walter, Director of the Yeladim Learning Center at the Jewish Community Center of Greater New Haven.
Sign up for this free program in the Children’s Room. Appropriate for families with pre-school aged children and up.
