Cinema Club Presents: The Artist

Hollywood 1927. George Valentin is a silent movie superstar. The advent of the talkies will sound the death knell for his career and see him fall into oblivion. For young extra Peppy Miller, it seems the sky's the limit - major movie stardom awaits. The Artist tells the story of their interlinked destinies. Rated PG-13.

Who is awake in Tyler Mill Preserve at night? Bring a camp chair, flash light and bug spray to watch the sun set, hear stories and learn who is out and about in the woods at night. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Jean Kobrin Day!

Jean KobrinMayor Dickinson attended the farewell reception for Jean Kobrin on Tuesday, July 31st and presented her with a proclamation declaring July 31st as Jean Kobrin Day in our Community! Congratulations Jean and thank you for 43 years of service to our Library.
